The Indonesian Government entry requirements are as follows:
1. VISA FREE TO INDONESIA - AUSTRALIA NOW INCLUDED
Citizens of a total of 169 countries (including Australia), arriving into the following five ports only: JAKARTA / DENPASAR(BALI) / KUALA NAMU / SURABAYA / BATAM and the following three seaports only: BINTAN / BATAM / RIAU, are eligible for a free visa for tourist purposes only with maximum stay of 30 days (non extendable).The full listing of the 169 countries can be found here.
2. VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA)
Citizens of Libya are eligible to obtain a Visa On Arrival upon entering Indonesia for USD35 for tourist purposes only with a maximum stay of 30 days (non extendable).
3. OTHER NATIONALITIES
All other nationalities must check with their local Indonesian Consulate or Embassy as they may be required to obtain an entry visa for transit or stopover prior to their arrival in Indonesia.
4. HOLDERS OF AN APEC BUSINESS TRAVEL CARD (ABTC)
ABTC card holders are permitted a maximum stay of 60 days provided back of card states &ldquoValid for travel to Indonesia&rdquo.
5. TRANSIT VISA IN DENPASAR
A visa is required for passengers transiting in DENPASAR continuing to a third country. The visa must be issued prior to arrival if the passenger is not eligible for Visa Free stay or Visa on Arrival.
6. TRANSIT VISA FOR INDONESIA
A visa is required for all transit passengers continuing to a third country with a transit time of more than 8 hours. The visa must be issued prior to arrival if the passenger is not eligible for a Visa Free stay or Visa on Arrival.
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival into Indonesia and must contain at least one unused page for Visa sticker/stamp. Onward/return ticket is required. Staying beyond visa limit may incur a fine.
